Deschutes River Evening Caddis Float × × × × × × ×
Deschutes River Evening Caddis Float

Deschutes River Evening Caddis Float

This is a 6 hour afternoon/evening float from Warm Springs to Mecca Flats. Exclusively offered June - Aug. Floating only a mile in a half, but fishing into the magic hour of last light. When the dry fly bite on caddis is at its best!

Summer Time Evening Caddis Trips

This is a 6 hour afternoon/evening float from Warm Springs to Mecca Flats. Though the float is only about a couple miles in length there is some fabulous water on the float. Late afternoon and evening fishing can be spectacular during the summer and often you will have the river all to yourself as most day floaters are far down river by then. This float is only offered in the summer season, after Memorial Weekend and the Salmonfly hatch craziness. Summer time offers a more relaxed fishing experience, and the caddis hatch can offer dry fly fishing that rivals that of the more popular (read busy) Salmonfly hatch!

The afternoon/evening floats include 6 hours of guided fishing, equipment rentals, and shuttle to and from the river.

Fishing licenses, river passes/permits, flies and guide gratuities are not included.

A lunch can be provided, though is not included in these 3/4 day trips (A lunch is provided on the full day floats.) Ask you guide about adding a deli lunch to your trip though and we can have ready for you when you arrive!
